Hello, good morning, and welcome to the Saturday Morning News Post!

Readers, things are moving right along in Dander-land and it’s pretty exciting.

First of all, web master and all-around renaissance man trombonist Steve Mynett is all aboard team Danderfer and has completed the 1st round of improvements to this website. As you can see, the SMNP finally has it’s own title (up and to the right). As well, there’s an ‘about’ page (complete with quietly intense photo of moi), so that all future Danderfans can get to know me in a speedier fashion and the rest of you can finally figure out just who’s been writing these awesome posts for the last 3 years.

Readers, I’m such a tease. Two weeks ago I got everyone all excited by introducing the “School of Danderfer” and then I left you hanging without an SMNP for two weeks. It’s just plain cruel really.

But lean in, ’cause the thing is,… “School of Danderfer” is big!

So big, I can’t unveil it all at once but only piece by piece. The first piece I intended to get in order was this website of mine. There’s nothing wrong with it per se, but it’s missing a few big things and I have no idea how to update it myself,… hence the music and photos from 2008.

So I went to my guy; web-master, designer, photographer, and proud, proud member of The Hummingbird Brigade (on trombone), Steve “Slappy” Mynett for guidance on how to tackle this first step. more…

Readers, good news, MY FINAL RECORDING FOR MCGILL WAS PASSED! I’M DONE!

That’s right, JD is damn near good as “masterful.” Come November the official paper should arrive via Owl at my breakfast table, at which point I expect the phone to start ringing incessantly with gig offers… “Danderfer is WHAT?… A master?! Splendid… I must hire this man immediately!”
