Readers, I am in the thick of it. Writing hot new originals for my 11-piece band, THE HUMMINGBIRD BRIGADE, and lifting some of my favourite brass band numbers as well (including a couple pieces by the Rebirth Brass Band). Readers, there’s so much to talk about that I didn’t even have time to talk about it last week. Hence the SMNP absence.
As you know, the illustrious branding & design company Industrial Brand is full of Danderfans, and so it was with many reservations delight that they took on my record label logo design project. The process so far has been pretty straight-forward on my end with a few pages of questions to answer about the direction/intent of my company and then a follow up meeting with IB’s artistic Maverick and Goose duo: Matt SamyciaWood and Tyler Wilman. For the duration of our 40 minute skype conference call, I was plied with further questions as to my company, the origin of it’s name, it’s direction, and what will make it so damn special! In the end, they had all the information they needed to begin their creative design process and I received all the attention I needed for my sense of self-importance. Win-Win! more…
