I’M IN A VAN: Mini-tour of Vernon, Nelson, Invermere.

Hello, good morning, and welcome to the Saturday Morning News Post!!

Readers, I know I promised the unveiling of the record label today but I forgot that I have to go on tour tomorrow so as a result, I must keep this brief.

Here’s the itinerary I was sent by the band leader, Sean Cronin:

Saturday, Nov 5
8:30am – meet at Sean’s
9am – Leave for Vernon
4pm – Soundcheck
8 – 11pm – gig (3 x 45min sets)
After, there is a jam session that is at the club.

Sunday, Nov 6
11am Check out of the hotel, go for breakfast and go to Nelson (on the road by 1pm – we don’t like driving in the dark this time of year)… the distance is like 339kms, so it’s pretty close.
Sunday night we stay at kiyo’s.

Monday, Nov 7
The workshop/gig is at Selkirk College
from Kiyo:
11:30 – move piano maybe,
12:30 instrument clinics,
1:30-3:30 performance for school (could get a little clinic – ee too) ,
8pm show.
Performance : cover

Tuesday, Nov 8
10:00am – Leave Nelson
by 5 (mountain time) – arrive in Invermere, move piano, set up..
7pm- gig (at Strands Restaurant)

Wednesday, Nov 9
You chaps go back to Vancouver. It’s a pretty long drive – 10h max, so you’ll want to leave before 10am, I reckon.

And with that I must leave you. If you read this after 8:30am I am already on the road. If you read it before 8am I am still asleep.
OK, gotta pack!

Have a great week!
